Sana M. Shoaib Ayubi

Sana has extensive experience in labor and employment law and general civil litigation. She advises and represents hotel, restaurant, general corporate clients, along with individuals in employment litigation, including discrimination, harassment, wrongful discharge, breach of contract, wage and hour, and labor-organizing issues, as well as before the EEOC and Fair Employment Practices Agencies. Specifically she has handled cases related to Title VII, ADA, ADEA, ERISA, contracts, civil rights, torts, corporate, SEC/NYSE, immigration, restrictive covenants, healthcare law, franchise law, Lanham Act, business defamation, FLSA, FMLA, OSHA, ERISA, and workplace privacy issues.

Sana previously worked as a Staff Attorney in the Fulton County Attorney's Office. There she worked in the Environment & Infrastructure Division and handled all legal matters for the General Services Department, the Department of Mental Health, the Department of Housing & Community Development, Department of Elections & Registration, and Department of Taxation/Finance Division and represented them in personnel board hearings, grievances, superior court hearings, along with tax appeal mediations.

Sana earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, and Economics from Simmons College where she graduated summa cum laude and received her Juris Doctorate from Vermont Law School where she served as Associate Articles Editor on the Vermont Law Review. Following her graduation from Vermont Law School, Sana started her legal career at Stokes Wagner Hunt Maretz & Terrell in 2004 and worked briefly as an Associate at Littler Mendelson. Sana has a passion for public service and has volunteered with the Atlanta Volunteer Lawyer's Foundation.

Formerly from Massachusetts, Sana now resides in the Buckhead area of Atlanta with her two children. Along with spending time with her family, Sana cooks Indian-Pakistani food, loves reading, being outdoors, and assists indigent immigrant women with immigration and family law matters. She also serves as a Mediator.
