I am a nationally recognized labor strategist and labor and employment attorney whose career was shaped on the front lines of hospitality operations. I began my career representing employees and unions before transitioning to the management side where I developed a passion for building strong workplaces cultures and helping employers navigate the complex intersection of labor law, workforce dynamics, and business strategy. That early, hands on exposure to hotel operations, individual employee and union representation continues to shape my practical, relationship-focused, and business driven approach.

With more than twenty years of experience, I am known for leading high stakes collective bargaining, resolving complex labor disputes, and advising senior executives on workforce strategy. I focus on turning legal risk into actionable business solutions - guiding employers through negotiations, organizational change, and an evolving regulatory landscape with confidence and clarity. My work has helped major hospitality brands foster collaborative, and productive labor management relationships that support both operational excellence and the guest experience.

I joined Stokes Wagner to align my hospitality focused practice with a firm that shares my commitment to excellence, industry specialization, and client centered service. At Stokes Wagner, I partner with hotel owners, operators, and brands to deliver strategic counsel, negotiation leadership, and forward looking labor solutions tailored to the unique demands of the hospitality industry.

Before joining the firm, I spent more than a decade as Vice President & Head of Labor Relations – Americas at Hyatt Hotels Corporation, where I led labor strategy across the U.S., Canada, Latin America, and South America. I served as chief spokesperson in major negotiations, oversaw all collective bargaining relationships and dispute resolution processes, and advised senior leadership on labor strategy for acquisitions, divestitures, and new development. Earlier in my career, I represented employees, unions and employers in a broad range of labor and employment matters, giving me a well-rounded perspective that informs my work today.

I have held leadership roles with the American Hotel & Lodging Association and the Hotel Association of New York City, and serve on the Management Advisory Board for Cornell’s Center for Innovative Hospitality Labor and Employment Relations (CIHLER). I have also served as co counsel and Trustee (for more than a decade) for numerous Taft Hartley Benefit Funds nationwide.

Outside of Stokes Wagner, I am a proud New Yorker, a dedicated mentor, and an active contributor to industry education and thought leadership. I am also an avid college basketball fan, boater and like to spend my weekends on the water and traveling to new places.
