We are excited to welcome Michael J. D’Angelo to Stokes Wagner.

Michael joins us after more than two decades immersed in labor and employment law — including nearly fifteen years with Hyatt Hotels Corporation, most recently serving as Head of Labor Relations – Americas.

In that role, Michael led labor strategy across the United States, Canada, Latin America, and South America. He served as chief spokesperson and negotiation leader in major collective bargaining negotiations, oversaw grievance and arbitration matters, partnered with senior leadership on acquisitions and development projects, and ensured alignment between corporate policy and evolving labor regulations.

Before his executive leadership at Hyatt, Michael managed labor relations for more than 26 hotels in the Eastern Region and built a strong litigation foundation representing management in complex labor and employment matters. Over the course of his career, he has handled collective bargaining, unfair labor practice proceedings, ERISA benefit fund matters, discrimination and wage litigation, and strategic workforce counseling.

What sets Michael apart is his perspective. He has worked inside a global hospitality company where labor strategy directly impacts operations, culture, and guest experience. He understands that in hospitality, workforce decisions aren’t theoretical — they affect people and performance in real time.
